Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Rutland, VT
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them recover from injuries and improve their physical health through exercise, manual therapy, and education. You will assess their condition, create individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct initial assessments to diagnose patients' issues and develop treatment plans.
2. Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
3. Provide hands-on manual therapy, such as soft tissue massage and joint mobilization.
4. Educate patients on proper techniques for performing exercises and activities at home.
5. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
5. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
6. Ability to assess and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions.
7. Continuing education in specialized areas of physical therapy.
