Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
π Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and medical conditions. The role focuses on improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring physical function through guided therapy programs.
π Key Responsibilities

Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans

Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities

Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist

Help patients use assistive devices such as walkers, crutches, or braces

Apply therapeutic techniques including stretching, strengthening, and mobility training

Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records

Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery plans

Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment
π Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program

Valid PTA license or certification
-
CPR/BLS Certification (preferred)

1β2+ years of experience in physical therapy or rehabilitation (preferred)
