📌 Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses. The role focuses on improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring physical function through guided therapy programs.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Physical Therapist
Use equipment such as exercise machines, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation
Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation
Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment

🎓 Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program
Valid PTA License / Certification
CPR/BLS Certification (preferred)

💼 Experience Required

1–2+ years of experience in physical therapy or rehabilitation (preferred)
