✅ Job Title: Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)

✅ Job Description (JD):

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) to support physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation care to patients. The LPTA will assist in executing therapy plans, documenting progress, and helping patients improve mobility and manage pain under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Implement treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist (PT)
🔹 Guide patients through exercises and therapy techniques
🔹 Monitor and document patient progress, response, and performance
🔹 Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and post-treatment care
🔹 Ensure safety during therapy sessions and adjust treatments as needed
🔹 Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
🔹 Assist with patient transfers, equipment setup, and therapy area cleanliness
🔹 Collaborate with other healthcare providers for coordinated patient care

✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:

🔸 Associate’s Degree from an accredited PTA program
🔸 Current state licensure or eligibility as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
🔸 CPR and First Aid certification
🔸 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
🔸 Ability to follow directions and work as part of a therapy team
🔸 Knowledge of therapeutic techniques, exercise equipment, and patient safety

✅ Preferred Experience:

✅ Experience in outpatient, inpatient, or rehabilitation settings
✅ Familiarity with EMR systems
✅ Bilingual abilities (a plus)
