Job Description

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses and improve their overall mobility and function.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assist in carrying out treatment plans as prescribed by the Physical Therapist

- Help patients with exercises, stretching, and other therapeutic activities

- Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises for home practice

- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report progress to the Physical Therapist

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

- Current certification or licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Compassion and patience when working with patients
