The Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders in children from infancy through adolescence. This role collaborates with families, educators, and other healthcare providers to create personalized, developmentally appropriate therapy plans that support optimal outcomes in communication and social development.
Conduct assessments and evaluations for pediatric patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, or feeding/swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs and goals
Provide evidence-based therapy in clinical, school, or home settings
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and treatment notes in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Educate families on therapy techniques and strategies to support carryover at home
Participate in care team meetings, IEP/IFSP planning, and professional development
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (or CFY in progress)
Pediatric experience preferred (early intervention, school-age, or developmental disabilities)
Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills
