Job title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and provide exceptional therapy services to children with developmental and physical disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and sensory processing, as well as experience working with children of all ages.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess a child's fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual motor integration, and daily living skills
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and goals set by the child and their family
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve a child's functional abilities, independence, and quality of life
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and progress towards goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluations
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based interventions in pediatric occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Certification in Pediatric Occupational Therapy preferred
- Experience working with children with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism, and other special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
