Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist
Job Summary:
As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will work with infants, children, and adolescents to improve their mobility, strength, and coordination through physical therapy. You will assess the individual needs of each patient and develop personalized treatment plans to help them reach their fullest potential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate and assess the physical abilities and needs of pediatric patients.
2. Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address each patient's specific goals.
3. Use therapeutic exercises, activities, and equipment to improve patients' strength, coordination, and balance.
4. Document patient progress and communicate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare providers.
5. Provide education and guidance to families on how to support their child's physical therapy goals at home.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
2. State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
3. Certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy preferred.
4. Experience working with pediatric patients in a clinical setting.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
